In my long career as a translator I have come across cases where a source sentence MUST be translated in a different way in two different contexts. In my work as a software developer I always find it irritating when a creative translation by our in-house neural machine translation engine is penalized by BLEU because it contains very few of the words in a reference translation. Somebody must look at those 100% matches!
