Infograpphic for app localizers
It’s been quiet at this blog for some weeks. Fortunately I have a good reason for that – I believe. In the past weeks I have been busy developing a course on app localization. This course is to be released soon, so stay tuned.
To help participants of the course improving their app localizations I created a simple mnemonic that can be printed to be put on the wall.
My infograpphic (no typo :)) contains an overview of the most common gestures for mobile devices as well as a visual representation of portrait and landscape modes. I also added a quick reminder to remember the linguistic conventions for Apple’s iOS vs other mobile operating systems. For the full details on the differences I recommend to take the training when it ultimately becomes available.
However this free reminder can be used whether you take the training or not and even irrespective your proficiency in app localization.
Download it below, print it and stick it on your desk or wall.
