    You have not even used the correct term for this “tone of voice” as you term it. The correct term for this in English is “register”. What you write is the absolute proof that you need to be native in the target language in order to be able to use the correct register for the job and convey the right meaning. This is especially true for translation of advertising content, such as websites. It is not the difference between Apple and Shell, so much as the difference between selling perfume and selling lawnmowers.
